On Saturday, Sandy Noack, Cancer Commons development officer and patient concierge, joined nearly 2,000 guests to “rock for a cure” at Tomstock 2019. This annual, invitation-only event raises funds for the H8 Cancer Foundation, a major supporter of our mission and work.
Although our founder Marty Tenenbaum was unable to attend, he delivered this heartfelt message, read to the crowd by Tomstock host Carman Duvall:
“I so wish I were there in person to thank all of you for your generous support of Cancer Commons. I’m there in heart. Every dollar we get from H8 Cancer directly empowers us to help desperate advanced cancer patients who have exhausted the standard treatments find new options and hope. We do this every day, and never ask for anything except their data, so we can continuously learn…If you or someone you care about is struggling with cancer, Cancer Commons will help…Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
